A La Brea Bakery Breakfast – To Go!
Hi everyone!
I hope you guys got to read our last article about La Brea Bakery Café‘s Express Service breakfast items at Downtown Disney! Their food is always so yummy, and the breakfast is definitely awesome. We had the privilege of enjoying and tasting more of La Brea Bakery Café’s breakfast foods today including the Double Dipped Pressed French Toast with berries and cream, the Breakfast Croissant Sandwich filled with bacon and eggs, and the Quiche Lorraine. The dishes, seen above, also deserve a knife and fork so that they can eventually find its way into your tummies. Be sure to try them on the Full Service side at the Café next time you’re down there!
Some people, however, may be concerned that breakfast at Disneyland may not necessarily consist of a sit-down affair – after all, a typical vacationer’s day is filled with activities that they might find it hard to fit in a sit-down breakfast.
Fear not, dear readers! For the Café has the solution for you: Express Service! The whole left side of the restaurant’s building is geared toward making your necessary food-buying quick and easy. The Express Service menu features fresh foods to fill up you and your families appetites so that you can grab a quick bite and then bring the rest with you as you enjoy your time at Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, and Downtown Disney District.
I’m excited to say that today we also got to sample three of the pastries available for breakfast at the La Brea Bakery Café’s Express Service side:
The Diamond Danish (bottom left)
A seriously yummy pastry filled with apricot and cheese. Flaky and super m buttery, this delicious pastry is really good for those who like their sweetness subtle.
The Fruit and Nut Scone (bottom right)
A very nutty and fruity! It’s literally an explosion of fruit in your mouth – with whole raisins, berries, and almonds, this pastry is perfect for anyone who likes fruits and nuts for breakfast.
The Summer Camp Coffee Cake (top)
This pastry is seriously delicious; it has just a hint of coffee without being overpowering. It’s sprinkled with just the right amount of cinnamon and topped with walnuts, making it super yummy and super filling!

In fact, I found all three pastries very filling indeed, making them perfect for breakfast: they’re delicious, easy to carry, and keep you full as you have lots of Disney fun for the rest of the day!
Dear readers, don’t just take my word for it – if you have time, please check out La Brea Bakery’s breakfast menu! If you have a little less time, check out their delicious express menu 🙂
Until next time!
