How To Train Your Horse. [Disneyland Edition]

We really appreciate the horses of the Disneyland Resort! They get us down Main Street U.S.A., and even make parades more memorable. They make a trip to Disneyland even more magical. They certainly do a lot of work for us, but they need to be trained before they even start working!

Thanks to the horse trainers at Circle D Ranch (the real horse ranch backstage at Disneyland Park), these horses are trained well in strutting and perhaps even being happy before they go onstage for all of us. Now we know that not everyone has a horse, but if you do have a horse or plan on getting one in the future, we’d highly recommend you train him or her the Disneyland way.

Check out the video above to see Lead Equine Trainer Jennifer Gable run through some exercises with Finn to see how to train your horse!

Do you like seeing the horses at the Disneyland Resort? Do you enjoy having them around? Where else at a Disney Park would you like to see a horse presence? Tell us in the comments!

My sister and I met Jen this past Friday in the park. She was great and couldn’t believe I recognized her from the videos. She was really awesome to talk to.
