Striking Up And Teaching For 30 Years.
Many of us recall the days of elementary school where field trips were not really learning experiences but free days outside of the classroom. We really didn’t care what the field trip was about or where we’d be – they were just things to look forward to.
But do you recall an instance where the opposite takes place? Where the reason behind the field trip caused you more excitement to learn? That’s what one field trip that many elementary school students (past and present) did and wouldn’t you know it had to do with Disneyland?
The famous Disneyland Band that plays daily on Main Street USA at Disneyland Park have been traveling around to different places in the surrounding community of Orange County, California to teach…and do a little more. They aim to teach students the importance and beauty of band music and they’ve been doing it for more than 30 years.
See what these students and “band teachers” get to do at these events in the video above.
